Instructional Designer

The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and developing engaging, innovative, and effective training course materials (both instructor-led and online) for the rollout of the company’s new business process software application.  This role works directly with subject matter experts and software developers to create materials including but not limited to leader’s guides, participant materials, job-aids, tests, quizzes, and practice activities related to the new software.  This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented team player with proven experience in developing training for technology initiatives and application of instructional design techniques to meet adult learning objectives.

Summer Work Opportunity

Manager Unix Operations

 The Unix Operations Manager is responsible for managing operations, production control, and security administrative departments for all Unix Operating Systems within Safeguard. This position will drive software compliance, and security initiatives initiated by Safeguard’s Compliance Officer and the Director of Infrastructure Services. The position will report to the Director of Infrastructure Services.

Database Administrator

The Database Administrator is responsible for the entire database environment, the necessary planning, design, installation, and management of all databases, the tools to support those database and the applications that run on those databases. This position also provides 2nd level support for all database related issues.

Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst acts as a translator between client business needs and the IT development team.  The Business Systems Analyst uses various methods to understand the client’s business requirements for the project.  The methods could include documentation review, one-on-one interviews, client meetings and/or JAD sessions.  After eliciting requirements, the Business Systems Analyst works with the IT development team to complete requirement documents for validation by the client.  Following validation, the Business Suste,s Analyst will develop detailed specifications for the development team.  Business Systems Analysts are also responsible for ensuring requirements are covered through solution design, development and testing. 

The Business Systems Analyst is a primary project “evangelist”, promoting the business value of the project to clients from the requirements phase through deployment.

The primary role of the Developer is to translate the solution design into a technical design and implement that in the target solution/application.  This is done through the review, analysis, and modification of application systems including the coding, testing, debugging and installation to support the organization's applications.
Quality Control Coordinator

Perform quality control reviews on selected work orders and loans. Identify specific quality deficiencies from these reviews. Analyze QC results to identify trends, root causes, and provide specific, actionable recommendations to address. Partner with operations teams to drive improvements and determine if desired results have been achieved. Learn many aspects of the business including services provided, guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance while recommending opportunities for improvement. 

This position will be located at our Mentor facility.

Quality Control Field Representative - Kansas

The Quality Control Field Representative is responsible for monitoring the quality of vendors work which includes inspections of work completed, the contractors operations, equipment and facilities.
