Technology Initiatives
Safeguard has been a field services industry leader in implementing technology solutions to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our services. Key technology solutions utilized include:
- SPI 1 - Business process management application for order management
- Client Web - Web-based, secure Client Access Reporting Data System (CARDS)
- Vendor Web - Web-based, secure contractor reporting tool
- INSPI2 - Handheld physical inspection tool
Safeguard's inspectors collect inspection results utilizing our proprietary INSPI2 application. INSPI2 is Web-based and offers many time-saving features, including:
- Wireless connectivity capabilities, through either cellular transmissions or a wireless network, allowing exchange of information (including new orders, completed orders, and follow-up requests) throughout the day
- Subcontractor management, allowing our vendors to assign, track, and manage work through their subcontractors
- Subcontractor tracking and reporting, to allow our vendors to review performance all the way down to zip code level
- Centralized database stored on Safeguard's Web servers instead of the user's desktop; allowing for faster data transfer
Through Safeguard's client Web site (CARDS), our customers have access to real-time reports that enable them to know the status of any order--seven days a week, 24 hours a day--ensuring they have timely and relevant information for efficient decision-making. Safeguard clients can generate real-time reports via a secure Web-based interface.
