Fannie Mae Servicing Guide Part VIII
May 25th, 2010
Fannie Mae released the 2010 Servicing Guide Part VIII titled, Updated Reference to Foreclosure Time Frames.
2010 Servicing Guide Part VIII – Updated Reference to Foreclosure Time Frames
On April 28, 2010, Fannie Mae released updated versions of Parts VII and VIII of the Servicing Guide. Part VIII, Section 104.05: Allowable Time Frames for Completing Foreclosure (08/06/08), incorrectly referred to Part VII, Chapter 2, Exhibit 4: Payment Change Notification Guidelines.
This Servicing Notice modifies that reference. Servicers should refer instead to Foreclosure Time Frames on eFannieMae.com for the allowable time lapses between the time the case is referred to the attorney (or trustee) for action and the completion of the foreclosure sale.
The change to Part VIII, Section 104.05, has been made to the electronic version of the April 2010 Servicing Guide on the AllRegs® Web site. In addition, the PDF version on eFannieMae.com has been corrected and reposted. Servicers who subscribe to the printed version of the Servicing Guide will also receive this update.
Servicers who have questions should contact their Servicing Consultant, Portfolio Manager, or the National Servicing Organization’s Servicer Support Center at 1-888-FANNIE5 (888-326-6435).
