Freddie Mac Revised Bulletin 2010-11

May 25th, 2010

Freddie Mac reissued Bulletin 2010-11 with a revision to the section titled "Workout Prospector."

With the May 17, 2010, Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) Bulletin, we introduced the Freddie Mac HAMP Backup Modification and the Cap-to-Reinstate modification for HAMP-ineligible borrowers. As part of this introduction, we provided detailed instructions on how to process a HAMP Backup Modification in Workout Prospector®. After routine post-implementation testing, we developed more streamlined instructions that will help you process these particular loans. This update will provide you with greater processing efficiency because it will eliminate a step for processing HAMP Backup Modifications in Workout Prospector.

If you have questions about the updated instructions in today's reissued Guide Bulletin, please contact your Freddie Mac representative or call 800-FREDDIE.
