Fannie Mae Announcement SVC-2010-07 Re-issued

June 11th, 2010

Fannie Mae reissued Announcement SVC-2010-07 titled, Introduction of Fannie Mae's Home Affordable Alternatives Program.

On Wednesday, June 9, Fannie Mae re-issued Announcement SVC-2010-07 to correct an error in the original version issued on June 1.

The Announcement corrections are highlighted in bold type on pages 17 and 21, and refer to the Remittance Code servicers must use when reporting the net short sales proceeds and $3,000 borrower incentive advance to Fannie Mae. The correct Special Remittance Code is 310, not 370 as stated in the original Announcement.

Details of Fannie Mae's Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) program can be found on the HAFA page on eFannieMae.com.
