June 28 HAMP Reporting Tool Release Implemented

The following enhancements were implemented today, June 28, 2010, in the HAMP Reporting Tool:

  • Nine warning edits applicable on Trial Period Loan Setup, Official Loan Setup, and Official Correction records were upgraded to fatal edits.
  • A new edit for Trial Period Setup was added.

August 2 HAMP Reporting Tool Release Preview Update

Additional information is available regarding the release scheduled for Monday, August 2, 2010. This release will include new functionality to support:

  • the Second Lien Modification Program (2MP) (Supplemental Directive 09-05 Revised);
  • the Treasury FHA-HAMP Program (Supplemental Directive 10-03), and
  • a bankruptcy plan in lieu of a HAMP trial period (Supplemental Directive 10-02).

In addition, it will include enhancements to functionality for Participation Program Cap allocation monitoring.

Technical Support for the July Reporting Cycle and Independence Day Holiday

Technical support for the HAMP Reporting Tool, available through Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS), will be available for the July reporting cycle as follows:

  • Business days 1-6 (July 1-2, 6-9) -- 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., ET (two additional hours each business day)
  • Weekend (July 3-4) -- Not available
  • Holiday (July 5) -- 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., ET

In addition, please note that the HAMP Reporting Tool and NPV Transaction Portal will be affected by the Independence Day Holiday, Monday, July 5, 2010, as follows:

  • Servicers will be able to upload and submit NPV transaction files via the NPV Transaction Portal and upload and submit data reporting files via the HAMP Reporting Tool; however, results and response files will not be available until Tuesday, July 6.
  • The HAMP Solution Center will be closed on Monday, July 5. It will resume operations on Tuesday, July 6 at 9:00 a.m., ET. On July 5, servicers may contact the HAMP Solution Center by phone or e-mail; however, phone messages and e-mails will be held in a queue until the HAMP Solution Center reopens on Tuesday morning.

Important Reminder: Servicer Performance Report

Please note that the Servicer Performance Report on HAMP activity through the end of June will be based on:

  •  The weekly servicer survey for the week of June 25, 2010 - July 1, 2010, for solicitations and trial offers extended;
  • The 60+ day delinquency survey for the month ending May 31, 2010 for the calculation of HAMP-eligible borrowers, and;
  • The HAMP system of record for trial and permanent modification data including all trial modifications that have a First Payment Posted Date of June 30, 2010 or earlier and activity posted against those trials through 10:00 p.m., ET on July 9, 2010.
