HAMP Update Preliminary Reporting Files

The U.S. Department of the Treasury issued a HAMP Update titled, Preliminary Reporting Files Available for Nov 22 HAMP Reporting Tool Release.
Preliminary Reporting Files Available for Nov 22 HAMP Reporting Tool Release
The preliminary schema and column header files associated with the November 22nd release of the HAMP Reporting Tool are available on HMPadmin.com. Servicers must use the preliminary files in order to support the new functionality associated with:
- Home Affordable Unemployment Program (UP);
- Principal Reduction Program (PRA);
- Housing Finance Agency Innovation Fund for the Hardest-Hit Housing Markets (HHF);
- federally declared disaster (FDD) guidance (pending the release of policy guidance); and
- new survey reporting.
Servicers are encouraged to use the preliminary schema and column header files, understanding that these are subject to change prior to November 17, 2010. Following this date, final schema and column header files will be made available.
Note: Both the current and preliminary schema and column header files will be available for use until February 1, 2011. After this date, servicers will no longer be able to use the schema and column header files that are current as of this notice to report on Home Affordable Modification Programs (HAMP) through the HAMP Reporting Tool.
To access, log in to HMPadmin.com. Then select "HAMP Loan Reporting: Tools & Documents" and navigate to the File Formats for Servicers Submitting Loan Data section.
