Statement by Federal Housing Finance Agency on FHFA Lawsuit Against Illinois Tax Officials

As previously reported the FHFA has filed a lawsuit in the State of Illinois asserting that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are exempt from the Illinois transfer taxes.
