Update: Between November 2-5, FEMA issued updates to a Presidential Disaster Declaration for areas in New Jersey and New York as a result of Hurricane Sandy. In New York two additional counties were declared eligible for individual assistance and all nine are now available for public assistance:
- Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties are all eligible for individual and public assistance.
All 21 counties in New Jersey are now eligible for public and individual assistance:
