Safeguard understands the importance of accuracy. It is because of this that we have stringent quality control measures in place at every step in the hazard claims process. As part of the hazard claims quality control procedures, random checks are completed on damage and referral reports. These checks ensure the recommendations from our contractors are relevant. We also review a sample percentage of pending files to ensure timely follow-up and processing.
Safeguard’s personnel play a large role in our quality control procedures. Any denied claims are analyzed by the policy and coverage review team also to ensure legitimacy. These denials, as well as claim summaries and bids are also reviewed by management before closing. The coverage review team also meets weekly to discuss problem claims and issues.
