Insurance loss inspections verify completion of repairs prior to the release of insurance funds.

Insurance Loss Inspections

Safeguard provides insurance loss inspections to verify to an insurance company that repairs and rehab work are successfully completed prior to the release of insurance funds. Often, these properties are occupied. Within 24 to 48 hours of contact with the servicer, the inspector will schedule an appointment with the homeowner. The inspector will survey the extent of the damage, the completed percentage of the repairs, and the borrower’s satisfaction with the repairs. Clients receive a progress report, as well as alerts about work not being completed as scheduled.
