Real Estate Owned (REO) Services

Safeguard takes great pride in its growing involvement in the REO arena over the last several years.  We have seen a tremendous increase in the number of clients who have moved toward a national field services company to maintain their REO assets—a task that for years was generally left to the listing agents.  By separating these responsibilities and bringing in a national vendor, our clients see positive gains in both the consistency of the REO preservation work and in the listing agents’ ability to focus their efforts on what they do best: selling the properties.

Over the years, Safeguard has developed a number of initiatives within the REO department to improve timeframes, work quality, and—perhaps most important of all—communication with the listing agents and between the agents and our contractors.  At Safeguard, we believe that communication is the key to all areas of success.  Without it, we cannot successfully manage the preservation process or our relationships with our clients.
