Pool Maintenance

Pools, if maintained, can be a boon to a home’s value.  However, when they are not maintained, they can be a deterrent.  Worse yet, if pool areas are not properly secured, they present a serious liability and potential for tragedy. 

Through Safeguard’s ongoing maintenance, pools are evaluated for safety.  If the pool has a fence surrounding it, the gate is secured with a padlock to ensure only those with the proper key have access.  If a fence is missing, Safeguard contacts our client immediately to explain the situation and to seek further instructions on how to proceed.  If the pool is above-ground, Safeguard will submit a bid to drain and remove it.  If the pool is in-ground, we will submit a bid to build a framework to place over it, following standard FHA recommendations.  The framework is covered with wire mesh, thus ensuring the safety of anyone who may attempt to get into the pool. 

Upon client request, Safeguard can also clean and maintain pools that would be a selling point for the property.
