California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA)
Sunday, 07 August 2005

Safeguard attended the California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA) Code Enforcement session. The goal of this session was to determine "how this industry can work together as a team to make this whole situation work." When a loan goes into default, Code Enforcement relates to every aspect of servicing that loan. In order to keep properties in compliance during the default process, the servicer needs to understand both the servicers' responsibilities as well as the investors' requirements.
