FEMA Declared Disaster Areas Iowa Severe Winter Storms and California Severe Freeze

Update Iowa

On March 26th the follwoing two counties were added to the original disaster declaration as eligible for Public Assistance : Mahaska and Polk Counties. Please see below for update spreadsheet of affected zip codes.

On March 13th and 14th FEMA  issued Presidential Disaster Declarations for areas in the States of Iowa and California.

Iowa
No counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance: 

The following counties were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Benton, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Buchanan, Butler, Calhoun, Cedar, Chickasaw, Clinton, Des Moines, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Hamilton, Hardin, Henry, Howard, Humboldt, Iowa, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Marion, Marshall, Mitchell, Muscatine, Pocahontas, Poweshiek, Story, Tama, Van Buren, Wapello, Washington, Winnebago, Winneshiek, Worth, and Wright.

California 
No counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance or Public Assistance: 

The following counties were declared eligible for Disaster Unemployment Assistance and Food Commodities: Fresno, Imperial, Kern, Los Angeles, Monterey, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Tulare, and Ventura.
