On May 10, FEMA added the following eleven (11) counties to the May 1st Presidential Disaster Declaration as eligible for Public Assistance: Barbour, Gilmer, Grant, Hardy, Lewis, McDowell, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Putnam, Upshur and Webster.

On May 7, FEMA added Denton County to the May 1st Presidential Disaster Declaration as eligible for Individual Assistance.

On May 1st, FEMA issued Presidential Disaster Declarations for areas in the States of Texas and West Virginia.
