SAFEGUARD PROPERTIES HONORED WITH LEADING EDGE AWARD

Safeguard Properties is pleased to have been the recipient of the Leading EDGE Award for 2006 by the Entrepreneurs EDGE (www.edgef.org). Awarded at this first-time event on May 16, 2007, the Leading EDGE award was presented to 101 middle market companies selected from over 1,000 nominations.  The Entrepreneurs EDGE was formed to support Regional Economic Development in Northeast Ohio by focusing on middle market companies interested in growth and value creation. To qualify for consideration for a Leading EDGE award, nominees were required to be located within Northeast Ohio, provide goods or services locally and nationally, and have gross revenue no greater than $ 500 million annually.  The initial Leading EDGE Award’s were chosen based on a combination of annual earnings and total taxable compensation paid to employees in the region.
