VA St. Paul Memorandum No 07-03 Property Preservation and Allowable Liquidation Fees and Costs

The VA St. Paul Regional Loan Center has released Memorandum No 07-03 rescinding Memorandum No 06-04.

The amendments contained in this Memorandum are;

Debris Removal
The VA will now accept an invoice or receipt of disposal in lieu of the actual salvage yard or dumping fee receipt. The invoice or receipt of disposal must contain the following:

  • Date of disposal
  • Address of the property for which the debris is being dumped
  • Number of yards dumped
  • Description of items being dumped or disposed.

Reimbursement for debris removal has increased and will now be at the rate of $40 per cubic yard.

Temporary Roof Repairs
The cost of roof repair to protect the interior of a property from further damage will be reimbursed up to a maximum allowable of $250 for labor and materials.
