HUD Audit Missing Dump Receipt Issue
Monday, 25 June 2007

HUD has posted comments to their FAQ website clarifying guideline requirements as they pertain to dump receipt documentation.

HUD acknowledges that individual dump receipts are not available in all instances where debris is removed.  Mortgagees are required to maintain a complete audit trail documenting key details related to the disposal of removed debris.  If these requirements are met, mortgagees will not be denied reimbursement for debris removal where an individual receipt is not available.
