Please provide the following information to those on your mailing lists concerning VA policy on the ongoing wildfires in Southern California, where seven counties have been included in a Presidential Disaster Declaration.

Due to the extent of the devastation caused by the wildfires, we encourage servicers to consider additional measures to assist veteran borrowers, such as suspending reporting of delinquent loans in those areas, and waiving collection of late charges on loans in the disaster area.
