Oregon Recording Requirements

The State of Oregon has passed SB 613 amending recording requirements for instruments assigning a mortgage or trust deed.

Under the amended law, the first page of an instrument assigning a mortgage or trust deed must contain the name and address of the assignee lender or assignee trust deed beneficiary.

The bill takes affect January 1, 2008.
