Computerworld, in conjunction with Storage Networking World (SNW), and the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), has released the finalists for its 2008 "Best Practices in Storage" Awards Program.
Safeguard Properties is honored to be a finalist in the category of "Storage Reliability and Data Recovery." The final award is to be announced during a special award ceremony Wednesday April 9th, 2008 at Computerworld's Storage Networking World, in Orlando, Florida .
The winner will have demonstrated
- Superior implementation strategies and programs to insure highly available information and data access.
- Examples of "business continuance" initiatives (back-up plans, staging, performance testing/projections, etc.)
- Successful recovery examples from an actual data access disruption, and;
- Summary analysis of restart/recovery factors (time to restart and restore, data loss, etc.).
