FEMA Declared Disaster Area Minnesota Severe Storms and Flooding

Update

On May 7th, the following three (3) counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance: Baltrami, Marshall and Polk Counites.

On May 7th, the following one (1) Indian reservation was declared eligible for Public Assistance: Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.

Please note that the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians includes areas in Beltrami and Clearwater Counties, already declared for Public Assistance.

On April 28, the following one (1) county was declared eligible for Public Assistance: Cook County.

On April 22, the following twelve (12) counites and one (1) reservation were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Becker, Beltrami, Chippewa, Clearwater, Douglas, Hubbard, Lac Qui Parle, Lake of the Woods, Pope, Stevens, Swift and Yellow Medicine Counites and White Earth Tribal Reservation.

Please note that White Earth Tribal Reservation encompasses parts of Becker, Clearwater and Mahnomen Counties, all already declared for Public Assistance.

On April 14, the following eight (8) counties were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Grant, Lake, Mahnomen, Otter Tail, Pennington, Red Lake, Roseau and Wadena Counties.

On April 10, the following four (4) counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance: Clay, Norman, Traverse and Wilkin Counites.

On April 9th, FEMA issued a Presidential Disaster Declaration for areas in the State of Minnesota.  

No counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance.

The following counties were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Clay, Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Polk, Traverse and Wilkin Counties.
