Pursuant to the recent Presidential designation of 25 Florida counties as disaster areas, VA has issued Information Bulletin 26-04-14 establishing processing guidelines for veteran-purchased homes in these counties.  The entire bulletin is available for your review in PDF below.

VA has also issed Information Bulletin 26-04-13, encouraging lenders, holders, and servicers to extend every possible forbearance to borrowers whose properties sustained damage from the recent storms and requesting that holders establish a 90-day moratorium (effective 8/16/04) on any new foreclosures involving borrowers so affected.  A link to the entire bulletin in PDF appears below.
