US Treasury HAMP Documentation Requirements Clarified; Temporary Waiver Issued

The US Department of the Treasury has released the following document titled, "HAMP Documentation Requirements Clarified; Temporary Waiver Issued".

Based on feedback from servicers and borrowers, documentation requirements for the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) are being updated and clarified effective with this waiver notification and are effective through October 31, 2009. Also, the temporary Trial Period Extension waiver is being amended.
