USFN Orlando 2004 Fall Regional Default Servicing Seminar
Friday, 27 August 2004

As you may be aware, the USFN will be hosting their 2004 Fall Regional Default Servicing Seminar this September 8-10, 2004 in Orlando FL.

http://imis.usfn.org/Resources/EducationalProgram/2004FallSeminar/default.aspx

The USFN has dedicated 2 sessions at this conference to address Property Preservation issues.

Session One will focus on HUD guidelines, Mortgagee Letters, and other current hot topics related to HUD regulations.  Representatives from HUD and other investors will participate in this session and be on-hand to answer questions related to the guidelines governing inspection and preservation issues.

Session two will address VA, FHLMC, FNMA, and CV loans. This session will review any new VA, FNMA, and FHLMC preservation releases and general preservation and protection issues.  We anticipate having representatives from the VA, FNMA, and FHLMC participating in the session.

Please click to open  USFN Orlando Proposed Sessions.pdf to review a proposed agenda of issues that can be discussed and have been reviewed at previous USFN conference sessions.

The two sessions are scheduled for Thursday:
Session One (HUD) from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Session Two (VA,FNMA and FHLMC) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We are currently in the process of establishing the panels for these sessions.  Servicers are invited and encouraged to participate as panelists to help guide the discussion about the changes in the investor/insurer guidelines and general preservation requirements.

If you are interested in participating as a panelist, please let me know, and I will add you to the panel.

Once the panel has been established, we will hold a conference call before the seminar to finalize the discussion agenda.

If you are not able to attend the sessions (or the conference) but have issues or questions you would like raised at the conference, please forward those to me via email at robert.klein@safeguardproperties.com, and I will have those topics added to the agenda.

Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing you at the conference.
