As part of our service, Safeguard provides its clients with the required bids that exceed cost limit(s) for Preservation and Protection.

The required bid needs to be submitted on the HUD form with detailed information on the loan status, work performed (cost to date) and detailed bid description.

Historically, these bids have been submitted by us to the client and in turn the client has been faxing the bid to the M&M for approval.

In order to assist our client in the bid submission, Safeguard has automated the required HUD form with the completed information and is being sent to our clients as an attachment with each bid update. Our system's automatic preparation of this form with the required detailed information, can be modified to fill in any additional required information (FHA case number if not available to SPI) prior to sending it to the M&M. This feature has saved our clients the time they normally would spend manually writing out this request.

Safeguard has implemented a process that will allow for on-line electronic bid submission to the M&M contractor.

Golden Feather is accepting bids in this electronic (e-mail) format. This procedure will allow for faster responses to the bid process.

We have activated the automatic generation of the HUD Overallowable form for all of our clients and can be utilized immediately.
