SPI Performance Report Card
Thursday, 09 December 2004

Safeguard is very aware that our clients need to monitor the performance of all of their vendors.  In order to help our clients with this task of monitoring vendor performance, Safeguard has developed a Report Card reflecting Safeguard's performance.

This report is designed to allow SPI and our clients to regularly evaluate the amount of time it takes for SPI to complete and update orders received from our clients.

The report provides a monthly summary of the number of days between order date, order completion, and update to the client.  The report is broken down by department, as work orders in different departments are completed according to each department's specific performance standards and priorities.  The report format will allow each client to monitor our performance by department and according to the criteria set forth by the client for each type of work.

Certain types of orders (e.g., orders generated internally, grass cuts, or orders with pre-set due dates) that would tend to skew results, because their completion due dates are not based on the date the order is entered into the system, have been excluded from this report.

Property inspections are separated into several categories, including downloaded inspections and sale date inspections.  Performance for downloaded inspections is measured from the date the inspection was ordered to the date the results are entered into our system and made available to the client.

Sale date inspections are measured from the due date (expected date of sale) to the date the results are entered and made available to our client.

Preservation work is separated into three categories: pre-sale, post-sale, and REO.  Results for pre-sale and post-sale loans are totaled and then sorted by loan type (FHA, VA, and CV).

The preservation work section of the report shows our performance in two categories:  the number of days from order date to completion date, and the number of days from completion date to update to client.

Regular monthly and bi-monthly grass cut performance is measured as the number of days to update the client from the date of completion.

As always, Safeguard values and appreciates client feedback.  If you have any questions or comments about this report, please contact Kathy Cogan at 800-852-8306 ext. 1394 or by email at
