Safeguard Properties Client Web Access Requests
Monday, 27 December 2004

It's very important to Safeguard and to our clients that the Safeguard Properties web site is completely secure, to protect our clients' and our proprietary information, and to assure that no private information about borrowers ever becomes vulnerable to access by unauthorized parties.

One of the ways we ensure the security of the web site is to require that access for each individual user is requested and approved by an authorized supervisor or manager.  With the recent increase at many of our clients' sites in outsourcing of certain services, this security issue has become a bit more difficult to regulate.

Because it is imperative that our client web site remains completely secure, we have established a specific and required format for submitting web-site access requests for our clients' outsource vendors.

Effective December 20, 2004, any web access request for a user who works for an outsource vendor or any entity other than our client, or whose email address contains a different domain from our client's, will have to be sent by the authorized manager or supervisor at the client site.  For example, if an employee of XYZ Outsourcing Company will need access to ABC Mortgage Company's files on the Safeguard web site, a supervisor at ABC Mortgage will have to send the email request for the XYZ employee's access.

Please direct all requests for access to the web site to Nicole Alling at
nicole.alling@safeguardproperties.com, or by telephone at 800.852.8306 ext. 1125.

Thank you for your cooperation in this regard.
