HUD ML 2005-13: Correction to Servicing Guidance for Victims of Declared Major Disasters

HUD has issued Mortgagee Letter 2005-13, which corrects servicing guidance in a previous mortgagee letter (2004-37). The new letter explains that a FEMA program that mortgagees had previously been instructed to refer distressed borrowers to (FEMA Mortgage Assistance Payments Program) is no longer available.
