City of Dayton OH Building Safety Week
Monday, 09 May 2005

The City of Dayton's Director of Building Services issued a press release this past week announcing that the city will be celebrating Building Safety Week May 8th through 14th.  During Building Safety Week, the city will offer amnesty to any Dayton residents who have performed construction without obtaining the appropriate permits: they will suspend the penalty of a double-permit and will charge only the standard permit fee for building permits obtained late or after the fact.

The Department will also suspend penalties usually imposed for overdue registration of rental units.

To read the entire release, please visit http://www.ci.dayton.oh.us/news/news_data/buildingsafetyamnesty.asp.
