SPI Open Bid Report Programming Change
Sunday, 17 July 2005
The Open Bid Report has two new options for tailoring results to suit your needs.
First, the the user can now select one or more departments for the report: it can be run for Property Preservation bids, Hazard Claim bids, Grass Cut Bids, or any combination of the three.
Users can also run the report to produce results only for a specific types of work (repairs, grass cuts, securing, winterization, debris removal, or miscellaneous), but please note that orders for a particular type of work may come from more than one department.  This should be taken into consideration when selecting report criteria.
The second new reporting option allows the user to include or exclude properties with no recent activity.  If the user chooses to exclude properties with no recent activity, the report will only show open bids for properties where Safeguard has performed work in the last two months.  Please note that the report defaults to excluding properties with no recent activity.
As always, this report can be scheduled for automatic delivery.
As you know, Safeguard does not remove open bids from our system without direction from the client.  We recommend that our clients review this report regularly and update Safeguard when open bids are not needed and should be closed.
If you have any questions about this or any other report on the SPI web site, please contact Operations Specialist Kellie Beyer (kellie.beyer@safeguardproperties.com).
