The VA St. Petersburg RLC recently issued Information Bulletin 26-05-05, establishing processing guidelines for homes in counties declared disaster areas by the President, and Information Bulletin 26-05-06, encouraging lenders, holders, and servicers to extend every possible forbearance to borrowers whose properties sustain damage from natural disasters and requesting that holders establish a 90-day moratorium on any new foreclosures involving properties so affected.
