Coastal and inland areas of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle were significantly impacted by Hurricane Katrina. The devastating storm and flooding have left many areas inaccessible, with businesses closed and residents relocated. As a result, the Denver and Atlanta Homeownership Centers will hold all mailings to the zip codes listed below. However, if affected lenders have an alternate address they would like the Homeownership Centers to use for mailing, they are strongly encouraged to: 1. Provide a mailing label with an alternative address for case binder submissions to Denver and Atlanta, OR 2. Temporarily change its mailing address using the Lender Approval/Institution Profile function in FHA Connection, OR 3. Contact the appropriate Processing and Underwriting Division Director in Denver (Jane Hall), Atlanta (Debra Robinson), Philadelphia (Gerry Glavey) and/or Danny Mendez (Santa Ana) with the alternate mailing information. Affected lenders are not limited to providing alternate addresses to those zip codes listed below. If mail service to other zip codes is adversely affected by this disaster, lenders are encouraged to supply alternate addresses for these zip codes as well. Louisiana: Mississippi: Updated Hurricane
