On November 21, FEMA issued a Presidential Disaster Declaration for areas affected by a recent Severe Winter Storm and Record and/or Near Record Snow in the State of North Dakota. No counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance. The following counties were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Benson, Billings, Bottineau, Bowman, Burke, Dunn, Golden Valley, McHenry, McKenzie, McLean, Mercer, Oliver, Pierce, Renville, Rolette, Sheridan, Stark, Towner, and Ward. In addition, this declaration includes the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. Parts of these reservation lands are situated in Mountrail County, which is not in and of themselves a part of this declaration. Our research with local sources indicates that any zip codes for Mountrail County may not be exclusive to the reservation lands; accordingly, we are unable at this time to provide zip codes for the parts of reservation lands within the boundaries of this county.
