Please see the following regarding the recently released FHLMC Bulletin.

Freddie Mac Single Family BULLETIN 2002-8 (12/16/02)
Incorporates revisions to the Freddie Mac Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide including:

  • Increases the maximum original loan amounts for mortgages delivered on or after January 1, 2003

  • Revises the requirements for refinance mortgages and cash-out refinance mortgage postsettlement delivery fee rates

  • Provides guidance on the treatment of installment debts deferred or in the forebearance period

  • Changes the effective date for revised construction to permanent mortgage requirements announced in October Bulletin

  • Reminds lenders of updated requirements for A-minus, other Caution, and Non-Loan Prospector mortgages and changes to postsettlement delivery fees effective for settlements on or after January 2, 2003

  • Revises the delivery requirements for Offering Circular Supplements

  • Reminds lenders of the Guide requirements for purchase of mortgages secured by manufactured homes

  • Revises Form 1092 (Brokers Price Opinion)

  • Revises GoldWorks payment cycle and the requirement for mandatory remittance via ACH draft

  • Eliminates the requirement for recordable assignments to Freddie Mac for mortgages serviced for Freddie Mac

  • Provides for the eligibility of mortgages endorsed using an allonge

  • Introduces a designated counsel/trustee in the State of Michigan

  • Revises reimbursement amounts for evictions and attorney fees for foreclosures
