Americans for Insurance Reform (AIR) recently issued a report discussing the insurance industry's denying claims based on flood-damage exclusions. Included in the report are issues and trends with Louisiana Citizens Fair Plan (LCFP) which has seen a large increase in policy holders.

Safeguard has experienced recent issues with the LCFP including the reassignment of a number of claims to an independent insurance claims adjusting company and the issuing of claim settlement checks to incorrect parties.
