Louisiana Recovery Website
Monday, 03 April 2006

Louisiana Speaks is a multifaceted planning process, endorsed by the Louisiana Recovery Authority, to develop a sustainable, long-term vision for the Southern region in the wake of the destruction caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The website http://louisianaspeaks.org/ houses a database of information pertaining to the recovery efforts.

Included on the website are specific "Charrette" (local planning sessions) Reports, which include recommendations on demolition based off the structure in question.

In addition, the planning is divided by Parish (click here). Included are property damage statistics under the "Housing and Community Development Header" viewable by clicking the "Needs Assesment" link on the left side of the screen.
