The USDA Rural Housing Service, has released Administrative Notice (AN) 4165 clarifying its policies concerning loss mitigation actions and encourages lenders to exercise loss mitigation techniques to the fullest extent possible when servicing defaulted loans under the Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program (SFHGLP).
