As previously discussed (click here) LA Senate Bill 445 was designed to create the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency, a non-profit corporation. This agency will hold and sell the titles to property destroyed by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita if the owners decide to take the buy-out grant rather than to repair under The Road Home program. The bill was recently signed into law by the Governor of Louisiana.To view the text of the final bill, please click on the following.
