Between October 16 and 17, 2006, FEMA has declared Presidential Disaster Declarations for areas in the states of Alaska and Hawaii.

Alaska
No boroughs were declared eligible for Individual Assistance.
The following boroughs were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Denali and Matanuska-Susitna. Also declared was the Chugach Regional Education Attendance Area.

Hawaii
No counties were declared eligible for Individual Assistance.
The following counties were declared eligible for Public Assistance: Hawaii, Honolulu, Kauai and Maui.
