Severe Weather Alert Louisiana Emergency Declaration Severe Storms

An emergency declaration has been declared for eleven (11) Parishes in Louisiana due to recent severe storms. The eleven declared Parishes are Beauregard, Caldwell, Franklin, Grant, Lasalle, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas and Vernon.

Please note as of October 18th, this area had NOT yet been declared a Presidential Disaster Area. Assesments are ongoing and a declaration may be forthcoming.

Initial reports from the field have identified the following three counties has having been the most severely impacted: Caldwell, Franklin and Richland.
